EQUITY
Equity is the process by which justice is achieved for communities that have been negatively impacted by an intentional architecture designed to marginalize and exclude members of that community.

WHO WE ARE
Action4Equity is a systems change movement grounded in Black liberation working in solidarity with community to innovate and activate the policies, practices, and power structures every Black child needs to thrive in Forsyth County.
HOW WE WORK
Our work is powered by love and rooted in lived experience and the truth that Black and Latine communities know what community needs. With the spirit of Sankofa, we look to the wisdom of our ancestors to inform the work of the present and our vision for the future.
Through our Sankofa Labs, we collaborate to create the tools, infrastructure, and spaces needed for taking impactful action. Efforts include ending harmful policies, reshaping how research is done and decisions are made, and transforming culture from charity to power-building. We work to shift the conditions that are holding problems in place to manifest whole children, families, and communities.
This is liberation in action.
